Today is Memorial Day. It's a day to celebrate the men and women who have worked so hard and given so much to protect the freedoms that we all enjoy every day. These people have given their lives, their sons, daughters, wives and husbands in order for us to remain free. Regardless of your political stances on the many wars the US has been in, these people gave more than you could possibly imagine.

Both my Grandfather (a Ret USAF Col.) and my father (a Ret USMC Cmd) are both still alive and for that I am thankful for what they have given and sacrificed.

To a damn Kidney Stone!! OMG... started yest evening and was the most excruciating pain I could ever imagine. Now I've broken most bones in my body since birth except my back, neck and skull, but nothing has been as painful as this was last night. Hilda had to rush me into the ER and they did full CAT scan and MRI of me and sure enough, it was going to be 1 of either 3 things....

1. I had a torn testicle (well it sure as hell felt like it)
2. A kidney stone was trying to get through the bladder (WTF???)
3. A hernia...

# 1 would have req surgery and that would have really sucked big time, not to mention this was not on my list of things to start doing this week

Well it was #2 and after a shot of Morphine to sooth the pain (ahhhhh yes!!) I was all better and on my way home. Drink lots of fluids and just try to pass or flush it out. They even gave me a strainer to catch it like a baseball so if I want to keep it for prosperity or look at it, I can.

I'm told this was so painful, it's equivalent to female child birth!!!! OMG!!! I told Hilda there's is no way she'll want to go through this!

Such a demented world this is...

We just got the keys to our new home.... and today (5-2010)there are Earthquake rainbows over Los Angeles !!!!
